HEC issues warning against unauthorised 2-year Bachelor's & Master's programmes

The Pakistan Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Sunday announced that students should refrain from applying for admission in two-year BA / BSc and MA / MSc programs as they not allowed. Commission.

"One or two colleges have announced enrollment in unauthorized BA / B.Sc and MA / MSc programs. While it will generate revenue for the university, it will not benefit the students. These rejected degree students. Will not be allowed to apply for a job or higher education.

 

The HEC added that in 2004 it was decided to set up BA / BSc and MA / MSc programs and replace them with a four-year comprehensive baccalaureate. However, universities were temporarily allowed to continue with both systems. Duration, the statement added.
